Siya ang Immediate Past Chair ng Maternal and Child Health Section ng American Public Health Association at naglilingkod sa board ng CityMatCH, ang pambansang organisasyon ng mga pinuno ng kalusugan ng ina at bata sa lunsod. Sa kabuuan ng kanyang karera, nagsilbi siya sa maraming pamumuno at advisory committee para sa mga programa sa kalusugan ng ina at bata sa lahat ng antas.
